Our SONIC HAWAII management team will oversee a fun and exciting family of car hops and kitchen staff through training and support. Management’s goal is to ensure that food is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner and that our customers have a wonderful experience.
Essential Management Duties Include:

Managing, training, monitoring, and coaching team members and carhops;

Directing and assigning employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards;
-
Adhering to and monitoring employee compliance of the employee handbook, policies, and practices;
-
Performing restaurant opening and/or closing duties;
-
Preparing employee work schedules, based on restaurant staffing levels;
-
Monitoring and maintaining food, beverage, and packaging inventory levels and placing supply orders within cost control procedures;
-
Completing and maintaining all drive-in restaurant employment related records and payroll records;
-
Reinforcing a customer service mentality and ensuring all employees are focused on customer service and enhancing the customer experience;

Immediately and respectfully resolving guest requests;
-
Interviewing and hiring team members to achieve proper staffing levels;
-
Preparing necessary operational reports and action plans based on financial and/or sales trends; and
-
Developing and implementing marketing and brand awareness plans.
Management Requirements Include:
-
High school diploma or equivalent, with some advanced courses in business, restaurant management, or related fields;
-
Minimum of two years’ experience in restaurant management (QSR preferred), including running shifts without supervision;
-
Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays;
-
Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices;
-
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations;
-
Leadership and supervisory skills, including effective verbal and written communication skills;
-
Basic accounting and computer skills;
-
Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once directed;
-
Ability to multitask and successfully solve problems;
-
Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills; and
-
Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards at SONIC HAWAII.
